Date Night: Palm Springs (2020)

Finally, after months of waiting, Palm Springs has finally been released in the UK, via Amazon Prime.

Mark largely spent the nine months since the film's US release Googling when it was going to arrive this side of the Atlantic. Elaine has barely even heard of it. So what better way to spend a Friday night?

We’re back!  After an unintentionally long break, we’re here to talk about almost literally EVERYTHING we’ve been watching.  You know that phrase, comparing apples with oranges?  Well, bear that in mind as we try to decide which show is more enjoyable: Period thriller The Terror (02:00), or fun dark-comedy The Flight Attendant (10:00).  We also give our quick thoughts on the first couple of episodes of Marvel’s (The) Falcon and the Winter Soldier (20:00).

We’ve been watching movies too!  We trade notes on Judas and the Black Messiah (30:00), a film we paid sixteen whole pounds to watch.  And finally, we fiercely debate Zack Snyder’s Justice League (41:50).  Which segment is Elaine’s favourite? Which song does Mark compare it to?  How apt that we’ve reserved our longest ever episode for this review?  Answers inside!
