FINALLY!
Long term listeners will know we've been dying (sorry) to watch Francis Ford Coppola's 90s classic.
This episode contains chat about the fish & chips at Whitby, dodgy accents, unnecessary nudity, and Tony Hopkins hamming it up. Enjoy!

Mark could have been at the wrestling, but happily he chose to stay home and record the podcast. Didn’t stop him talking about the ‘house show’ though...
In TV, Elaine has more to say about series 2 of the Beeb’s Showtrial (3:50) than she anticipated. And we talk cult leadership, Hulk Hogan and Succession-vibes in Netflix documentary Mr. McMahon (11:08).
In film, if you’re a fan of Mark’s sweary rants you’re going to love his review of Megalopolis (27:18). And we discuss Joker: Folie à Deux (37:00). The Revenge of Joker. Joker Strikes Back. Joker Forever.
Enjoy!

We start this episode with an unexpected trip down Eastenders memory lane. Although, don’t expect any up to date references, we’re still going on about Saskia being killed by an ashtray in 1999!
In TV, Mark gets very grumpy about Elaine's refusal to watch Colin from Accounts (3:25) and Elaine waxes lyrical about the triumph that is Season 2 of Sherwood (7:04).
In film, Mark gives us the lowdown on Twisters (14:25) and Blink Twice (21:45). And we have a difference of opinion in our review of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (27:15).
Just a quick note to say that our Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is spoiler free, but we do have a brief spoiler section towards the end (there’s a warning before we go into it) if you fancy listening to us try to decode a song from 1968.
Enjoy!

Welcome back to another packed episode of The Honeymoon Period podcast.
In TV, Mark reflects on Season 3 of The Bear (5:50) and Elaine has an unexpected review of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (12:40). Shout out to The Daryl Dixon Podcast and hosts Kelly and Dawn for their fab commentary.
In film, we have mixed thoughts on M. Night Shyamalan’s latest twisty-turny movie Trap (21:00). And we also have a good ol' scream in space for Alien: Romulus (34:15).
Enjoy!

We’ve been on two dates (with each other). And they’ve both involved...wrestling! Remember when Mark wanted this to be a wrestling podcast? Well, his dream comes true for the first couple of minutes of this episode.
Shout out to NORTH Wrestling and Alex Ayre, the director of Watch the Lights which we mention during our date chat.
In TV, Elaine’s been watching Jake Gyllenhaal be all tortured and lawyerly in Apple TV’s Presumed Innocent (14:00). In film, we have a major difference of opinion about Netflix’s Hit Man (23:00), Elaine shoehorns in a review of The First Omen (31:00), and we finish with our thoughts on Deadpool & Wolverine (38:50) (all spoiler free!)
Enjoy!
