We start the episode with wrestling news! Yes, Mark finally gets to wax lyrical about WWE on the pod. He shares his thoughts on the ‘retirement’ of Vince McMahon, and he also has a big wrestling related reveal…
But don’t worry, we do get round to our usual TV and film reviews eventually – and it’s a bumper episode! In TV, Mark reflects on Season 6 of Better Call Saul (12:10), we both revisit Westworld Season 4 (17:51), and Sky SciFi’s new show, horror-drama From causes a stir in The Gregersen household…
In film, we cover Thor: Love and Thunder (36:26), Where the Crawdads Sing (43:00), and The Gray Man (50:08). Plus much unpacking of Richard Marx’s seminal song Hazard. Obviously.

It's Mark's birthday! Well, not today. Well, OK, if you're listening to this some time in the future, then it actually might be.
In TV, Mark wants Elaine to sell the Beeb’s crime drama Sherwood (2:22) to him. We discuss the new MCU Disney+ show Ms Marvel (8:55), as well as Westworld's return for season 4 (15:53). It might help to imagine Elaine staring wistfully at a picture of Westworld S1, wondering where it all went wrong....
For films, Mark wonders if Elaine knows what Lightyear (27:54) actually *is*? He also reviews Netflix’s Hustle (34:00) (which isn't a BBC show about con artists). Finally, we discuss our cinema trip to watch Elvis (39:44). Can they help falling in love with the film? And can anyone actually think of an Elvis song with a negative title to complete these notes? We can't!

WELCOME TO…. erm…. Jurassic… well…. Yeah, we don’t know either.
In this spoiler-heavy discussion, we cover our relationship with the JP/JW franchise before jumping into our thoughts on the film. Hold on to your butts for the arguments about star ratings at the end.
Enjoy! We've spared no expense.

In this episode, we share our thoughts on the first few episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 (3:44) and Star Wars spin-off Obi-Wan Kenobi (17:55). All spoiler-free. Plus a Jeremy Beadle reference for all you 80s fans.
Then, for something completely different, we review Alex Garland’s latest film Men (29:49). Starring Jessie Buckley and Rory Kinnear, Men provides a commentary on masculinity, trauma, and misogyny with folk-horror vibes aplenty. Needless to say, we needed some time to unpack it! So, we start with our spoiler-free opinions, but - if you've seen the movie - carry on past 48:15 and join us as we delve into plot, character choices, and that ending.
Thanks for listening!

It’s high time we caught up on some tv and film, and boy do we have a busy podcast for you! Elaine delves into HBO true crime mini-series The Staircase (6:40), Mark discusses Netflix documentary Our Father (18:00), and Elaine eventually finds out why Mark stopped watching Russian Doll Season 2 after just two episodes (23:38). We've tried to avoid spoilers where possible but if you don't want to know anything about these shows best to come back when you've watched 'em.
Then in film, there’s only one movie on our minds. Listen to our spoiler free review of Everything Everywhere All At Once from 34:45. And as a special treat we didn’t anticipate when we pressed record, hear our spoiler-filled thoughts from 49:39. Be warned, Mark has lots of questions for Elaine…

Tuesday May 24, 2022
Mark’s turn to pick the Date Night film. And he’s chosen another Andy Samberg comedy (see our Hot Rod Date Night episode if you’re a fan!).
A comedy for 9 year olds, with references to Silence of the Lambs, Terminator 2, and forced plastic surgery… Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale!

Tuesday May 17, 2022
A little late to the party, we finally get round to discussing our thoughts on Steve Strange (not that one) and his multi-versey-timey-wimey movie. Rejoice in Mark’s totally random references (Mer-Man from the He-Man cartoon anyone?) and enjoy Elaine’s defence of the film’s baddie. Be warned: spoilers from 16:37.
Enjoy!

Forget the format! We're turning our back on TV for one week only, because we've just seen too many movies (although please let us know if you want a Moon Knight podcast... We're really enjoying it!)
We start off talking about films we've seen that have recently hit UK streaming, with Elaine covering The Eyes of Tammy Faye (3:13), Mark dipping briefly into Drive My Car (8:05), and we both exchange thoughts on Spencer (12:29). Then we talk about NEW FILMS. Will Mark be the one person on earth to actually like Morbius (19:56)? (spoiler alert... no). We've both been to see Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and, as is custom, haven't spoken to each other about it until we’re on air, so spoiler free thoughts from 26:53 and full on spoilers from 39:38.
And if you've got this far through the podcast notes, please send pictures of your pets to us on Twitter or Instagram @thehoneymoonpod.
Enjoy!

Imagine, if you will, a time before Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, and 'The Flash Enters Speed Force' was declared the 'Best Moment in the History of All Time Ever'? Well back in those halcyon days we recorded the first half of a podcast about Peacemaker (9:24) and - the Netflix event that literally no-one is talking about - Charlie Brooker's Cat Burglar (2:27). Then life got in the way, and we had to wait to wait a week for our movie reviews, first of all a pair of British films targeting the 'grey pound', The Duke (18:18) and The Phantom of the Open (25:49), then Disney+'s genre-bending thriller Fresh (31:12), and finally a catch up on Death on the Nile (39:10), just as it arrives on Disney+ in the UK.
One quick note, we might have angered the Gods during our podcast as we were hit with a massive hail-storm during the movie segment. Hope it adds a bit of atmosphere!
Enjoy!
