Last week we thought this was going to be a low- key, set up kinda episode of Line of Duty, and how right we were....
Join us as we talk about Jed Mercurio's takeaway orders, Elaine's weird celeb crushes, high school romances, and of course, THE BIGGEST CLIFFHANGER IN LINE OF DUTY HISTORY.
You 'definately' don't want to miss this episode.

Urgent Exit Required: Line of Duty S6E4

Monday Apr 12, 2021
Episode 4 of Line of Duty was so full of awesome that we've had to record our longest Urgent Exit Required yet!
Whose DNA does Jo's match? We've rewound, paused and tilted our heads, trying to read what was on the paper, and still can't work it out. We turn shamelessly to our friend Neil's theories!
Meanwhile, we still find time to discuss The Bill, The Office, and Elaine even makes room to explain police rankings to Mark.
And, of course, 'Will u show me your trunshon'.

Date Night: Palm Springs (2020)
Saturday Apr 10, 2021
Saturday Apr 10, 2021
Finally, after months of waiting, Palm Springs has finally been released in the UK, via Amazon Prime.
Mark largely spent the nine months since the film's US release Googling when it was going to arrive this side of the Atlantic. Elaine has barely even heard of it. So what better way to spend a Friday night?
Is it better to go into a film knowing absolutely nothing? Where can we get a pizza-shaped lilo? And just WHY is Mark currently watching Riverdale? Answers to this and more inside...

We’re back! After an unintentionally long break, we’re here to talk about almost literally EVERYTHING we’ve been watching. You know that phrase, comparing apples with oranges? Well, bear that in mind as we try to decide which show is more enjoyable: Period thriller The Terror (02:00), or fun dark-comedy The Flight Attendant (10:00). We also give our quick thoughts on the first couple of episodes of Marvel’s (The) Falcon and the Winter Soldier (20:00).
We’ve been watching movies too! We trade notes on Judas and the Black Messiah (30:00), a film we paid sixteen whole pounds to watch. And finally, we fiercely debate Zack Snyder’s Justice League (41:50). Which segment is Elaine’s favourite? Which song does Mark compare it to? How apt that we’ve reserved our longest ever episode for this review? Answers inside!

SpoilerVision: Unpacking Marvel Studios’ WandaVision
Monday Mar 08, 2021
Monday Mar 08, 2021
Join us as we discuss WandaVision, the Marvel Studios’ TV show that defied all expectations. Is Mark going to sing THAT song? How many times will we mention Lost? And what exactly *are* runes…?
MEGA WARNING: Right from the off, we spoil MAJOR plot points in WandaVision. We also discuss many of the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a massive twist in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, and – weirdly – the end of M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village. Please proceed with caution!
Also… sorry for the sound quality. We didn’t record this in our bathroom – promise! – but we have moved to another part of the house to record and there’s a little more echo than we would like. We’ll sort it for next time!

We're back! Sorry it's a bit late. We'll explain why, and how there could have been a lot more beeping in the background of this podcast...
Mark's been catching up on Season 7 of The Walking Dead (not Season 8 as he says in the podcast! Ooops!) (3:09) and has finally started warming to The Expanse in Season 2 (5:45). Elaine has been, as you'd expect, watching real-life crime documentaries in Forensics: The Real CSI (7:15) and The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (9:30). But, for once, we've been watching some TV together! Like a proper married couple would! We give our thoughts on Netflix's latest limited series Behind Her Eyes (13:26) and the fourth season of ITV's cold case drama Unforgotten (23:35).
And, for reasons that are explained, Mark has been catching up with some of 2020's 'lesser-loved' films - The Turning (34:18) and Underwater (42:52).
